Very early in her career, Prachi Desai was chosen as the brand ambassador of Neutrogena, a leading skincare brand in India.
She rose to fame with her iconic role in the tele-serial ‘Kasamh Se’ on Zee TV.
After rising to fame as the most talked about Indian television celebrity, she bagged a role in the Farhan Akhtar starrer ‘Rock On’.

She also featured in the romantic comedy ‘Life Partner’ in 2009.
Her first full-fledged role came her way in 2010 with ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ also starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and other acclaimed actors.
She appeared in some more films like ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’ in the following years.
She played the lead in the John Abraham – Chitrangada Singh starrer ‘I Me aur Main’ but the film bombed at the box office.
Her latest stint with Bollywood was her much talked about item number in Mohit Suri’s latest film ‘Ek Villain’.
‘Awari’, her item song in ‘Ek Villain’ was the highlight of the film and we wouldn’t be surprised if she bags a lot more item numbers in the coming times.
Born in Surat, Prachi Desai was raised by her parents in Panchghani, Maharashtra.
She participated in the second season of Jhalak Dikhlaja.
After weeks of hard practice and some top notch dance performances, she went on to become the winner of the second season.
The tattoo she sported in ‘Awari’, her item song in ‘Ek Villain’ was even copied by a die-hard fan of hers!
She also featured as Prachi Chauhan in the insanely popular TV serial ‘Kasuatii Zindagii Kay’.
